Bilstein 5150's are probably the best combination of a resi shock with a reasonable price ($100).

Are you auctually gonna use them for the purpose they are built or just to say you have them and looks?
$400 is alot for just looks, you could spend a fraction of that and still get good, high-performance monotube shock like KYB or Bilsteins.

thanks Tim, and yea i got blocks, im pretty sure if i have spindles im gonna have blocks or AAL's or whatever, either way EVERY RANGER wether its an edge or xlt 2wd or any 4wd theres only about 3 lift hight choices. 3.5 or 4..or fabtech 6" for a tiny 2wd with comes out to the same hieght as an edge 2wd with 3.5 inch. the main reason for theis forum was to get everyones opinions on wether resi shocks are worth it or not. Mueler how much of a difference did you notice? so if anyone has any Advice that would be great. and if know the sizes that would be even better. Thanks everyone
