So I wanted to try the color change emblem mod, so after reading up on a few threads I thought I had it figured out.

I don't have a hairdryer or heatgun so I figured the oven would work just fine. Maybe I'm impatient......



Then I thought, screw it, I'll paint it black.



Well hey, that wasn't so bad. So, now it's on the truck

Does the billet grille have a built in mounting point for the emblem ?
Was just wondering if it can be positioned un a lower corner or else where ?

Thanks. The billet has no places for mounting. I just used two sided 3M molding tape and placed it where I wanted. I kept the pins on the backside just to make sure it was straight

I think I would like to try again, I have another idea already. PM me if you have a price in mind
