I was asked to do this a while ago and got busy with other stuff, so I figured I'd get it started right now while I am thinking about it.

My first Jeep was a 94 YJ 2.5l 4cyl ,4" lift and 33's and I have not found any pictures laying around of it. Think I lost them when I got out of the service years ago...

Second Jeep was a 95 YJ with the 2.5 4 cyl , 1"body 2" suspension and 31's up to 33's and back to 31's - I put 80k miles on the first motor - 40k of which was offroad... Well used and abused. I picked up my 3rd jeep and was forced to get rid of the YJ... Regret it EVERY SINGLE DAY..... Never again.



3rd Jeep is a 2000 TJ Sahara ... aka Barbie ... She gets all the good toys
2.5" suspension lift with 6" springs and a 1" body lift
33x12.5x15 TSL Thornbirds on Rockcrawler steel wheels for play
32x11.5x15 BFG A/T's on Rockcrawler steel wheels for the street (got sick of the stock rims)
SYE, Tom Woods shafts, belly up skid plate
Durango4x4 bumpers ft/rr
4.56 gears , ARB air lockers ft/rr
Warn full float axle upgrade rear, warn manual hubs front and rear ( used to tow it alot, now it's trailered to play)
Rockhard full roll cage, Tuffy locking center console, tuffy locking rear console
custom built rock sliders, Warn winch in the front . High lift Jack.
Rock lights for playing at night, KC's on the front, Hella's to replace the stock headlights, recessed rear lights
Bestop Sail cloth top. Optima yellow top, 190 amp alt, Banks header and complete exhaust
Spiderweb shade to avoid the burn without the top.

There are no scratches on my jeep, they're scars and battle damage.....

Audio = Sony cd, usb headunit, RF amp running 1 10" type R , Polk fronts and sports bar, Eclipse 4 channel running the polks.

Dave, I have a 2003 Edge but as you can see, all my $ goes to the jeeps....

I don't regret getting the F-150 over a 4dr rubi, but if the timing was better , and work was better - ha , I could have picked up the truck last year and the jeep this year. Thats pretty much what I was saving for but it just didn't happen. The wife wanted the Rubi as well, she knows she would have been driving it alot. She doesn't drive my TJ but likes the new ones.

My 2000 looks little in these pics and I don't know why, I am glad I don't have any of the white one next to it cause it towered over it ... Too much steel on the green one weighing it all down... I got on the scales once and drove off in disbelief...

The white one was fun and that picture is of it on the beach near St. Augustine .

i like the silver tj..comin from a jeep to a ranger was my best decision. i honestly will never buy another one. fords are so muc better

After a week in Daytona for Jeep beach I have finally made the decision to go bigger.
The Rancho Rockcrawler lift has been on it for over 10 years.

I ordered a set of doors from Rancho and am getting some skins by Spiderwebshade to demo down here. I'll post a pic when I get it all in... Should be available through Rancho later this year.

 

Ordered a Superlift 6" longarm kit , Spod , 20" led light bar for over the winch, ARB twin air compressor, Poison Spyder Defenders Zero flares, and a few other little goodies. So I'm out of fun money for a few months - probably the rest of the year once the wife looks at the accounts.

Installed a back up camera already and am in the process of installing a pair of forward facing camera's for playing in the rocks and trails ( hope it makes for some good video)

Have some D2's waiting on brackets , have 8 new Ozium floods ( 4 white 4 blue ) for rocklights just waiting on lift before I put them on - and to see which color affects the video less.

Getting pricing on line-x for the front and rear bumpers with tire carrier. ( Trying for a package deal when getting the truck done as well.)

Waiting on final lift dimensions to order new tom woods shafts

Added a pair of 2 gallon air tanks to tie into the compressor.

Building a new box for a single 10"type R and some Kappa 12's . ( I've had the 10" in it for awhile but I'm not liking it enough currently, so I'll try a different box first if I still don't like it, back to the Kappa's and the R can go to the wife's next car.)

I'll try and post pix along the way.

Once my wallet recovers from the initial expenses some I'll repaint it all back to Forrest Green -eventually. Hope I can finish it all up by October minus the paint, but work is getting in the way. ( It must be completed by Jan 5th - figure 60 days is enough time for back up ) Lots to do - should be fun.
