The Senate passed the socialist pork... I mean stimulus plan.

This country is going to go down hill fast, and I can't wait to blame the Democrats-liberal hippies, much like they've blamed Bush for 8 years.

at last nights meeting we ran through the 900 page "plan".

of the $827 billion, only around $25 billion actually address infrastructure spending.

of the $827 billion, only around $40 billion actually goes into "creating jobs/work."

if youd like to know where the rest of the money is going.... it takes alot of money to buy off 60 senators.

Hey Josh was there something in there for first time home buyers? I heard there was a 15k tax credit or some BS like that? Know anything about it?

I am not for the plan at all but nothing i can do if it passes. I want a house so i figure i will take advantage of what is there if its worth it.

the credit only applies if you bought a house in 09. and its only 7500 the first year. you can apply for a second 7500 next year but only if you meet minimum requirements (which have yet to be announced).

by the way guys, the stocks have plunged due to the ..... well, the lack of specificity regarding job creation and details about where the money is coming from/going.
