Debating about painting my rims

Just bought my B2300 a month ago and love the truck! Decently quick for a 4 cylinder too!

But now i want to start enhancing the look and start getting rid of chrome and would like to paint my rims(Can't afford new ones for a while)
So can any of you guys photoshop my rims black or post your own black rims?

Thanks a bunch!

Just coat them with Plastidip. If you don't like how they look black, all you have to do is peel it off.

Not sure if you've ever used it before, but it's incredibly easy to work with. For what it's worth, here's what it looks like on my Fusion and Ranger:

That looks pretty good, how long have you had it on your vehicles? and can you still go through car washes or does that stuff turn into confetti?

I put it on the Fusion sometime in the spring (April maybe?). I drive about 2500 miles a month, and haven't had to reapply it yet. It's held up extremely well, even through a Louisiana summer and a tornado we had at work last week lol.

I've run it through an automatic car wash a couple of times without issue when I didn't have time to do it myself. When I wash it by hand I try not to scrub it too hard or with anything that could be abrasive. I could probably wash it harder than I do, but I don't want to risk it peeling. It cleans pretty easily anyway.

I haven't driven my Ranger since I applied it because of the rebuild I'm doing, but I expect nothing but the same results that I've got so far on the Fusion. If anything, it should hold up better on the Ranger since it's taller than the Fusion and won't see as much road debris.

Plastidip is $20 a can up here. Not really cheap. But its a good way to paint them, but keep it removeable.

$20 a can?! I saw some today for about $4. If shipping wasn't so high, I'd send you some lol

If you are decided to use plastidip, you can use a glossifier to add a shiny finish.
