Hello, I have a 95’ Ranger Xl 4x4 manual w a 2.3l engine. Im currently running 31x10.50r15 with a 4” rough country lift kit. The real question is should I (I know they’ll fit) but should I put 35x12.50r17 on it? What are the pro and cons please?!

 

35 is a big jump from 31...Are you sure 35 will fit? That poor 2.3 will really work harder on those tires.

 

Your truck is going to hate the 35's without lower gears (4.88) and a bigger engine to help overcome the larger tires.

 

Thanks for the input! I was thinking about 4BT swap or TDI just need to know if the stock manual trans can hold up to the torque that would come.
