Found a set of 17" Cherokee rims and tires - wanting to find out if they'll fit on my Ranger without having to do any other modifications. the lug pattern seems the same just by eyeballing it..... but I'm questioning because the rims I have now are the stock chrome Ford ones and it seems like the center is sunken backwards -- the ones I'm considering are flat in the center where the lugnuts bolt on.
(I'll post pics if it makes it easier to see what I'm talking about).
My truck is a 2000 Ranger XLT with stock 15".

Jeep Cherokee used 3 different wheel bolt patterns over the years, so hard to say, will depend on the year of the Cherokee they came off of.

Rangers all used 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern.

1984 to 2001 Cherokee is listed as same wheel pattern as Ranger

You have to watch out on the front hubs, Rangers often need a larger center hole.

The back spacing is also important, especially on the front because of the disc brake calipers

 

Yeah these are said to fit with the bolt pattern - I'm wondering about how Ford rims seem concave in the center but the Cherokee rims are flat in the center (in the middle of the rim with bolt holes surrounding it).
Also with that said does it take some modification for rims that aren't concave in the center?
