center caps

on my 02 edge i was thinking about running my wheels with the center caps off. i took them off and they look pretty good but i need new lug nuts because mine are an old goldish color. has anyone else done this?

Depends on what rims you have. Mine just look ghetto without the center caps, and by ghetto I mean looks like crap.

On a related note, I've seen a bunch of people running the stock center caps from their 15" stock wheels with soft 8s/daytonas, I'm thinking of either 16x7 or 16x8 soft 8s and running the stock center caps/nuts from the 16" stock rims. Any issues running these vs. the one on the 15" (might be the same?). Any pros/cons b/w the 16x7 or 16x8? Recommended offset? Thanks in advance!
