wheels over winter
im sure thius has been covered before and i have read a few threads before posting. i live like 3 blocks down from the beach so the salt air sucks all year long it eats away at everything. we dont get snow really at all and they only salt the roads when it gets really cold. i have my stockers stillat the house im running american racing bajas currently. would it really be worth it to swith back over. if i didnt how often would i need to clean and polish them to keep them like new i dont mind the work i just dont want them going to crap. thanks in advance everyone

Its real tough to keep wheels looking good through many winters. After a couple they all start to show it. If you really like your rims and want to keep them for a long time it is by far best to have a different set for winter, so that your good rims never get exposed to the harsh elements. I have been doing this for the past 5 years and I think its very much worth the effort of having two different sets of tires and wheels.
