how about 32x11.50 general grabbers?

yeah i was wanting to get these tires (in the link). i want some 32s instead of the 31s. they only have them in 11.50 for the width...would my stock wheel fit that? if you could check the link they have other sizes but i cant read those sizes to know. thanks guys.

i wouldnt get general tires personally, but um if you have a 7inch wide rim i wouldnt put an 11 inch tire on it i have a 285/75/16 on my truck and its an 8 inch rim..... you could prob go about as wide as a 10 inch tire...

General rule of thumb is the tire should be no more than 4" wider than the wheel.

Ex: 7" wheel to 11" tire. 8" wheel to 12" tire and so on.

I don't know how the General Grabber tires are, but I have their Ameritrac TR's and they SUCK as far as traction goes. They wear good...but suck everywhere else. Actually, they are good for one thing...BURNOUTS! Woot!

I'm running a 11.5 tire on the stock 7in rims and don't have any funny wear going on, I do run a little less air pressure though. My friend has those tires in a 33x12.5 and they don't do great offroad, no nearly as well as BFGs - food for thought.

In the countless times it's been covered, yes that has all been brought up before. Don't mean to nitpick or anything and I mean no offense, but you ought to know better!

ok nitpickers lol. how do they do so bad offroad...they look like the exact same tread pattern as the bfgs. my buddy dan (black-n-blue) has them on his and they dont do that great in mud either....sorry dan if u read this. but yeh, bfgs are like 20 to 40 bucks more a tire.

Cost-effective alternatives to BFGs:

Pro-Comp
Maxxis Buckshot Mudders
Dunlop Mud Rovers (careful with the sidewalls... they have a tendency to puncture)
Firestone Destination Muds
Goodyear MT/Rs

Some are cheaper than others, but all those are well-performing tires.

he asked about backspacing, now i admit i dont see how this affects his questions because he is keeping stock rims, but it wasn't mentioned all.

senior member? look at the dates buddy kendall has been on here longer than kyle has

and as for apologizing to kyle, i think you should apologize to everyone on this site for the 5000 stupid posts you have wasted our time with.

Oh i'm helping people out, i'm saying what is on a lot of peoples mind, and on that note, we're done.

good luck with the tires wennal! i know you're gettin them for looks so i doesn't matter too much, i got a cool pic to show you of a truck similiar to yours, besides, if you wanted them for performance you could keep your slicks you got now, they beasted the sand :)))

Alright kids.

This topic has been covered many many times, might not be the same exact tire as been covered, but it the same as has been covered. Backspacing does not matter since you are keeping the stock rims, not sure why that was brought up.

Zach may have useless posts, but has offered a whole helluva lot of informative posts, that greatly outweigh the useless ones.
