Yea.....when i bought my truck, it had the stock firestone RT/'s on it....and they were promptly replaces within the first two weeks of ownership. Mostly due to the Explorer tire issue a few years back. lol.

OOPS! I had a major brain fart!

Ok......I didn't want firestones when i was looking for a truck. My dad made sure the dealer swapped out the firestones for the goodyears. 2 weeks after getting my truck, i replaced the goodyears. Good lord...my bad.

I had to take my truck back to them to fix their screw up 4 times after having them replace the brakes once when I got the truck. I will never go back to them again.

my mistake was i left my old rims and tires at the shop in the excitement of getting my new tires and rims! i gotta go retrieve them so i can sell them in the thrifty nickle woot! put a penny n my pocket for them ol things ha ya my 3in coil lift an shackles arnt enough for them tires im gonna put my 3.5 fabtech spindles and 3in blocks on friday or hopefully tomorrow only problem is my mechanic was saying my passenger side wheel bearing was worn out and that kinda ticked me off.... because i havent done anything to hurt them ol things... i guess ill find out how bad they are when i do put my spindles on... =(

Thought you already had your fabtech on? You should put new bearings on it anyway, since you have a bare new spindle being installed.

I've had nothing but great luck with Firestone! I didn't even want to give them up on my 01 with the recall. They wanted to put crap years on there but I told them I am keeping my Firestone's or they are giving me some BFG's and thats what they did.

I have always hated Firestone tires. When i had my 99 B4000 4x4 it came with 265 firecraps..ran them through the summer and fall and threw on some procomp AT's...oh my god what a difference.

No, I have some Firestone destination AT's and they are alright. They are decent in rain, snow, and sand as well as very quiet. Mine are traction compound A and they corner nicely withaot of control but they are small tires(235). I will look into some Nitto terragraplers next time. I really like the baja claws but they are too expensive for me.

I have the Firestone M/T's and they are amazing and they look way better then those! I have a 2wd and man I go through anything now, I had the Yoko's Geolander before and I had limited terrian without getting stuck, I went to the beach last year with the geo's and I got stuck in the parking lot (which was all sand and mildly packed) now this year I'm up and down the beach I own that place.

I didnt mind them because I work at autozone and we sell them a lot of parts but after I went over there to see about new tires and the guy was like for sure ill take care of you I was like right on then I get home and get online and the price I find online was way less than the "ill take care of you price" that i was going to get. I wont take my business there

Well I think when I replaced my bearings it was around 70 bucks for front and rear bearings both side + rear seals , and a can of grease , engine cleaner and brake parts cleaner . If it was me with everything you have spent money on with lift and all spend the extra Cnote for bearings .

yea i mean who knows i could have loved them destination m/t's but their service in general was horrible and i expect their tires to be just as bad too if they cant keep good name for themselves
