BFG MT vs. Interco TSL Radial

I'm looking at getting new tires and I can get either set of these in the size i want for about the same price.

Anyone out there had both or their Ranger. I know lots have had the BFG MT but haven't read much about the TSL Radial. Size I want is 33x10.5x15 on the stock Alcoa wheels.

Most of my driving is onroad but i do do a little offroad and there is lots of ice and snow in the winter.

Any experience or opinion (lots of those I'm sure) would be a big help.

i dont think the TSL will last very long if you drive on the road and they will prolly suck in the snow.

from the info you said i would say BFG M/T is your best choice.

I had the BFG AT that came on it and they work better in snow and ice but i like the look of the MT even if I don't "need" it. And now that there is only 3 payments left it may see the woods more often.

get yourself the BFG M/T's....you will not be dissappointed....they will last a heck of a lot longer than the TSL's.....Interco doesn't have a good rep for lasting when used on the road....

the M/T's will do fine in snow....the only reason that the A/T will do better in ice and rain is because the A/T is sipped(sp?) and the M/T isn't.....the M/T will get better "grip" in snow because it will clean itself out easier....

I would consider other tires too...like mt/r's (if they even come in that size), maybe the interco ssr radial, trxus mud terrain, etc.

But out of your choices, definetly BFG Mud Terrains. I have the A/T KO's, and I like them, but they are not awesome in mud, they are OK, but not awesome.

The mud terrains are going to not perform too great in thin snow and icy roads. A/T's are better suited for that.

few things TSL's are not ment for the road there a offroad tire.

on that note get the BFG's they will do you good. honistly my humble opinion get 32x11.5x15 they will fit perfectly fine on your stock alcoa, and look 100x better then those pizza cutter 33x10.5. the 33x10.5 look fine from the sides but from front and back wow is that bad. here let my show you atleast the 32x11.5x1 BFG A/T on stock 15x7(the M/T will look alot meaner). now these are edge plus rims but the have the same specs as your alcoa's being there both 15x7 with a 4.5" backspace

I was looking at the Trxus MT as well but they only come in 33x12.5 and I would need new wheels for that to work.

I had a set of those. Great in mud, great in snow. Crap in rain/dry. Wore real bad on the road, and were a ***** to balance and to KEEP balanced.

I would still buy another set though, they were awesome tires

I also have to say that I have the 33x10.5 A/T's on my ranger and they don't look like pizza cutters and perform fine. I don't know your situation, but there's most likely no real need for a 12.5" width.

Just playing the devil's advocate -->

since tirepackage.com has Summit beat by $9 then call Summit(1-800-230-3030) and tell them...they will beat their price!

I had a problem with my first set of TrXuS because my camber was all messed up in my front end and had so much toe in it was rediculous. With the 34s it's so much better and i'm liking them alot. Yes they rake a bunch of weight to balance properly too but these things are heavy.

WRONG.... you can fit 33x12.5x15 on stock alcoa 15x7 with NO rubbing after a t-bar crank. here is Bill's 04 level 2 with 33x12.5x15 BFG A/T on his stock alcoa. now granted it would wear better with a 15x10 or15x8 but to say you need different wheels no

....also BTW Trxus is made by Interco all there tires run LARGE my buddy grant(G'sevo) has them on his they where mesured mounted at 33.5x13x15, where as BFG runs to size or smaller...

I actually want to get the BFG MT's or Interco Trxus M/T's now, seeing as I probably can't fit any 37's...I'm probably going with 35's, so LMK how they are if/when you get em. Shoot me a pm or something.
