I think tire sizes are general, not varied for each specific vehicle, so if its a 235/85/16 then thats what it is. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but i dont think they're different

im not asking if there different for each vehicle, the vehicle they came off of really isnt relevant i was just statingt. i was just wondering if they will fit on my truck. i heard they were pretty comparable to the 265's. but i realize that the size isnt vehicle specific.

235/85R16s= 31.7 x 9.3
265/75R16s= 31.6 X 10.4

bacicially they will just be noticeablly skinnier vs what you currently have, but they will easily fit

i have a load range E on there right now. i think walmart f'd me over by giving me 245/75/16 and a load range E. max pressure 80 psi. it really makes me mad that they told me the 245's were the biggest i could go. keep in mind i did this before i found this site.
