how the hell did you manage free shipping? I had to pay $83 for UPS to ship and then $120 for import & brokerage when they got delivered.

I got totally owned on shipping. I hate buying stuff from the States. They were still cheaper than any other wheels I was looking at up here. I probably coul dhave gone to Autozone or something and got the knock off ones though.

I bought them through Summit Racing and they got shipped from Ohio to Ontario. Took 3 days to ship which was great.

You still liking the steel wheels? Is the extra weight helping at all in the snow?

I love my soft 8s. They are heavy but also heavy duty. Alot of times I am going through water that I can't see what's down there and they have served me well a couple times that I know of. I am sure there was some power loss but I couldn't tell.
I painted my center caps black.

Mark, I've noticed now having mine on for about a month, that my lug nuts and my centre caps are starting to develop some little rust spots on them. They use SO much salt here on the roads in Ontario it isn't even funny.

Mike,I'm liking the wheels. They look good and although they are heavy, I have only noticed very little performance loss, though I have taken a very slight hit on fuel milage, but they may also be due to my tire choice.

Joey,if you want some awesome tires in the snow and all year 'round, try out a set of these Cooper Discoverer STT's. These things are freakin amazing.

I don't have the "cragars" but I have the same style made by pro comp. The wheels were beginning to rust after one winter and the caps remained rust free for about 0.5 seconds, then I painted them black.

Those look really good on your truck. For spending next to nothing for brand new rims, I can't complain about the rust. Heck, the wheels are just going to get beat up on the trails anyways. My truck also has over 250k miles on it and even when these cragars get rusty, they will still look 100 times better than the original pitted and peeling 3 spokes that were on it.

Looks good, but the centres caps rusted on me after about 5 months, 2 of which were this winter. I just took them off and put my old Ford centre caps on. I think it looks much better, but I also didn't have the chrome lug nuts.

I just got the basic chrome center caps off 4wheelparts.com when I got my wheels. I really wouldn't bother payin to get them powdercoated. I hit mine with some black paint I had layin around in the garage and they hold up just fine. And it is a pretty snug fit, I put a couple dents in them from using the lug wrench and I had to kick them out when I took the caps off to paint them.

Oh and I'm only running 2 in the rear incase you couldn't tell from the pic, the caps I got came all closed in a set of 4, I told 4wheelparts I needed 2 open ones for the front but that apparently fizzled out somewhere, doesn't bother me tho you can't tell cuz of the hubs.

yeah,I don't exactly like the centre caps the rims came with, I think they stick out too far. A nice bubble style or something not as long would be nicer.

It's not a show truck,so I'm not picky.
