Time to tire shop for 3 inch lift
So here is the deal, I am doing my 3 inch spindle lift and running 15x8s w/ 3.75BS and -19mm offset in January. I need to pick out some tires, and my budget sucks. Under $500. I am looking at aggressive all-terrains. Possibly mud-terrains. No all seasons though. Or SUV all-terrains with crap tread. Not opposed to used with better than 60% tread but no re-treads. Tri-State only. Willing to drive. Not paying to ship.
I am looking at 31s-33s height with 9.5-11.5 width. Again, for 15s. Load range B, C, or D. Nothing above that. C would probably be best. I would like 32x11.5or10.5s the best but I am flexible due to price. Will probably end up with 31x10.5s due to price and availability. I have been on craigslist with no luck so far. But I have till January.
So what are the best bang-for-your-buck tires. Toyos? Mastercrafts? Kellys? Dunlops? Generals? Yokohamas? Obviously any tire less than $125 a piece. Which would be the best?
I am honestly looking mostly used. I would like to get a good used tire over a crappy new one. So if Ohio area people would keep an eye out for me that would be great.
(Please, don't come in here yelling about Duratracs or KM2s. They are out of my price range and I know everyone has a preference for tires but I don't want your personal opinions, just the facts for the best deal.)
Thanks!!

A 32x11.5 might be the best suitable for your truck. I'd check craigslist every single day, usually a great deal pops up every once in a while for good tires. If you can, get a reputable named tire although some weird named ones are manufactured by big name companies but they tend not to be as tough in the long run

yeah thats what i've noticed. lots of tread wear issues and soft rubber on the off brands. thats why i would rather get a used good tire. like some BFGs or Wranglers with like 60% tread. the kellys are junk and they are a goodyear tire. and the mastercrafts (I have some now) are made by cooper but I like them. they use cheaper compound so they wear faster.
32s would be awesome but no one makes them HAHA. its either 31s or 33s it seems like.

maybe you could convince this guy to ship these? theyre not perfect but i cant imagine it would cost more than your budget to have em shipped to you

You could stay pretty close to your budget with the brand of tires I have. Especially if you can find them and wait for a sale. They may be "no namers" but I've never had a set of mud tires that wore this slowly. Even my friend who works for a tire supply company is amazed at how they're wearing so slowly..
Just trying to help recommend a good tire for your money.

Yeah since I am 2WD I really need some A/Ts. I have seen some decent M/Ts on CL though so keep an eye out for those. He hasn't emailed me back yet though so maybe neither of us will get a response or chance lol. There was a dude selling 32 BFG ATs in East PA for $500 w/ wheels.

General Grabber AT2 Tires - All Terrain Tire Reviews
General Grabber AT 2
What do you guys think of these. I can get them for $120 local in 31x10.5. They have similar tread to BFG T/A KOs, plus some good sipping. I will probably hold out on them till the last minute and keep my eye on CL for some used BFGs but if it comes down to the wire these look good.
Reviews look good. Most compare them to BFG T/As and say they are just as good or even better. Looks like about 30-50k on them until they get bad in the rain but re-sipping would probably fix that. Only "issue" I saw was balancing. I guess they take a few tries sometimes. Sound good though and for $120 a piece I can't beat it.
