Annoying Problem - Steering Wheel Shake

After I replaced my stock tires and wheels and got 32s, my steering wheel would start to shake after I hit 65mph. I figured it was balancing so I took it in and got all four tires balanced. It helped a little bit, but now the wheel shakes from 55-60 and then again from 65-70mph. This is really annoying and I don't really know what the cause is.. I'm about to give up on the truck and just start looking for an F-150 (which I can't afford right now). Does anyone have any ideas?

It's not a vibration bud, it's shaking left and right

take them somewhere that has "road force" balancing...they need to be re balanced

watch them balance them and see if they have lateral or radial runout, one or more of them may need to be turned on the rim, especially if you have steel wheels in order to balance them correctly

You can balance tires all you want......but if you have a bent rim you'll always have a shimmy.

Take your truck to a better shop, or just go back to the original shop and tell them to recheck the balance. I had to take my truck back twice to the shop before the tires were done correctly.

Kinda reviving this thread... a little update. It doesn't ALWAYS shake.. it really depends on the road I'm on. Some it shakes a lot, some it doesn't shake at all. And theres time when I'm on a really shaking road that it'll hardly shakes. It really has a mind of it's own..
