barely legal.....Pics!!

So I found this deal on craigs list and i got em
32x11.50 swamper TSL radials that are basically worn. I got 4 of them for $100 cause they looked good enough to try for cheap to see what 'REAL' off road tires are like and to see how i liked a 32 on my truck. Also, they can just be for offroad excursions. I guess my net step is trying to find the cheapest set of 15x8 wheels I can... anyone? I mean CHEAP, condition doesn't matter

the tread is ok for offroading, but they won't last too long. I was looking into sipping and tire trimming. and i got to wondering....I know what the answer is already, but i am gonna ask...
How stupid would it be to cut into the flat part of the tire (between lugs) to gain a little more "tread depth"? I don't know how thick the carcass is on a TSL Radial...

Link dosent work.

I would say if you could shave off any of the flat part of the tire you wouldnt want to do much. I would say no to the whole idea. It would be ALOT of work.
