belle tire or discount tire?

i am getting tires in the next week or two and the prices are pretty similar.
i just wanted to get people's opinion about these two stores. pro's and con's all experiences are welcome.

http://www.belletire.com/CustomQuote...geredFitment=0

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/car...roductId=31921

also, would you man up and get the $99 warranty? is it really worth it? i got the lifetime one on the stockers from the dealer but (knock on wood) i have never needed to use it. so would it be more for piece of mind?

i'm not shipping. i am buying and having them installed at the store since the prices are way cheaper over there. that tire here when i looked 6-8 months ago was $220 a tire or something.

our trucks are gonna look similar. you've got 1"BL on 265s and i'll just be cranked on 265s. i was contemplating the 1" even though i'm not a fan of them. i hope to see your truck at the dunes next month.

I like discount. There service is pretty good but they will try to blow smoke up your **** to make sales. But everywhere does that. I have never heard of the other place though. And discount will match anything you find cheaper.

How much are they a piece? Chances of blowouts are not all that high and chances of multiple blowouts are rare! I mean if its a $125 tire I wouldn't get it. But if it were a $350 Nitto Mud Grap then yeah I would get it. Its up to you but I probably wouldn't.

tires are $180. so it's closer to the $125 not worth it end. but it could come in handy if there is a puncture or something

Well if its in the tread it can be plugged/patched. But in the sidewall its a lot harder. I would opt against it but thats me. Maybe they can cut you a deal. Doesn't hurt to talk to them. Maybe they can cut some tax off and you can get the warranty.

I absolutely love Discount Tire. The local store near me has the best service I have ever common across. They have earned my business for life

They will beat any price I can find on tires and rotate all my vehicles tires (even if I haven't gotten tires from them on it) for free. Same thing with repairs.

I have had horrible luck with Discount Tire. I always end up getting what I want at an awesome price, but they always make me work for it. One time they ruined a center cap and gouged a wheel, next time they gave me a two hour runaround, time after that they stole my valve caps, and I could go on.

I've only used the discount tire here once, but they did have the cheapest tire in town. Although, the staff was a bunch of high school kids that were acting pretty unprofessional while I was waiting.

I like Belle Tire, they gave me no issues when i got my Tires, and the warranty is worth it IMO. I cut a tire once and all i had to do was bring the rim and tire into them, and they gave me a new tire no problem.

If your at your job you should always be professional. Especially in front of the customers.

i laugh at the professionalism comments. you need to have some fun but i agree about not being in front of the customers.
