Alright people I'm new here, I have searched all over the frickin' place and have found conflicting answers 100 times over. I have a stock 2001 xlt 4x4. I bought 15x8 american racing baja's 3.75 bs and I want to get 32x11.5x15 tires. Do I need a lift or not?? some say yes some say no...hmm. Please help a brother out. I really want to get my truck done. Thanks everyone

No you dont, I'm running the same setup, just crank your torsion bars some so they don't rub.

XLT & XL & Sport 2wd

* 15x7 stock suspension - 215x75x15, 235x75x15, 235x60x15, 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15(may need to trim)

I have a 99 XLT 2wd with stock suspension running 33x12.50x15 with minor trimming, so you can update if you feel necessary, but i recommend a 3in. lift at least if you are going to make the suspension travel at all...

i do not have a trail head ranger, just a stock xlt. I will post pics tonight, so expect them. It does rub a little, but a little more trimming and it will be fine. I have a 3in. PA BL in my garage that will be installed VERY soon...

Had to anchor the ebrake cable down in the drivers side wheel well as seen in this pic, as well as in the rear, took off the mud flaps and mud flap brackets, cut a little of the wheel well plastic, as well as a slight angle on the front bumper plastic and boom, done

only a test fit, like i said previously, a 3in. BL is going on, and i only paid 200bux for all 5 rims and tires, they still have quite a bit of tread for that price. But if you want the thread to help, change it, dont act like a dick about it... this site is for all different types of rangers, and if someone wants to put 33s on there stock ranger, than at least they would know they could...
i thought that was the point of the thread..but go figure the redneck is the first one to get *****hurt and complain..

oh yes because you hurt my feelings lol ya ok dude.. no i wouldnt put that on that chart that is not enough clearness for anything over flat roads.. go hit a speed bump doing oh about 30mph and report back on your findings... or just flex out the rear real good and see what happens... my 32's with more clearness then that and less back spacing can hit the fender on the back in the inside under max flex.. you wont even max your flex out you will just smack the fenders...

advise if you want to do more then just going to burger king put the body lift on and run 32's... if not, its not my problem if you dont like your fenders..

not like your post in the thread isnt still here leave it.. if people like they will see it and if thats what they want then sooooo be it they can do it...

I agree with stone. Leave your post in here so people can see it, but I'm not going to add it to the original chart because your set up lacks driveability in the situations one would need large offroad tires.

you are both absolutely right. Sorry if i came off as an *******, but i knew i would hear some ****, lol. I only drive a mile a day, so figured i would rock them until i get the BL on, which should be this weekend. I do get full turns both ways though, and have yet to hit the fenders, but i only drive the interstate, so i know why,

hey vb2ner, what did you do for that spare tire mount in the bed? I want to look into something like that possibly, but depending on the size tires i get...prolly 30 or 31's i'm not 100% sure if it will fit between the bars of my roll bar.....and also, does anybody know i good brand of powder coat rims that will fit 30" mud tires?
