Dayton Timberline A/T P255/70R16 tires

I was just wondering if anyone else on here has a set of
Dayton Timberline A/T P255/70R16 tires and if so have you had any bad experience with them?
I just had one to rip on me and I didn't even run over any rough terrain, so I'm pretty sure it's a factory defect because they're only 2 months old and they still have 95% of the tread left on them.

Any experience with Dayton Timberline ATs? - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

I had a set on a truck I bought the tires had 90% tread left but it grew a sidewall buldge I replaced the tires right away.
made by firestone, never hear anything worthwhile about their tires.. heard quite a few stories about exploding firestones haha.

Thanks Zak
I accidentally posted in an existing thread when I meant to post a new thread about these tires.

I went to Michael Tires today (The place that sells the tires) and I showed the guy working there how it ripped and first off he told me that they don't make or sell the those tires anymore (wonder why?)
Then I told him I got the road hazard warrany and he had to track down one of that's in stock at one of the other stores. He found one in Carmel, IN which is 145 miles from that store and he's going to have it shipped to that store and have it installed on my wheel on Thursday.
I guess the lesson learned here, is never buy a 16" tire for 89 bucks.
When I need a new set of tires, I'm just going to bite the bullet and spend 600 for a set of BF Goodrich A/T tires.

I have a set of those on my alcoas and never had any problems with them. I knew they were a cheapo tire, but that's what came on the truck. They actually were a really nice snow tire and they wore pretty well.

Well, I'm glad you haven't had any problems from them. My cheapo tires came on my truck too, but I was lucky that my sister actually bought the same tires for her Ford Escape and got the road hazard warranty.

I'm thinking about getting some Firestone Destination A/T tires later on down the road. Are those pretty good tires?

Not sure about the Firestones, haven't heard anything good or bad about them anyways. There is always mixed reviews about the BFG's, but I know that I will be sticking with the All Terrains from now on.

My buddy has had a set of 31x10.50s on his body lifted 4x2 xlt for the last 3 years. Not sure how many miles he has on them but I know he's never had any problems with them.
