Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tire (245/45-17)

anybody know anything/have expierence with this tires?

yes x2! dont get them, they are super ugly, kinda look like those stock gen 2 wheels, sends shivers down my spine

Get them. They will increase your fertility and make you irresitable to the opposite sex, and in some cases the same sex.

btw, they are from 94-97 Cobras. 98 Cobras got 95 Cobra R-ish looking rims but i think they were narrower or something.

my friends got them on his mercedes, he says they're inexpensive but he really like them so far.

yea it says theyre summer tires on the web, but its summer in socal year round so its all good haha

edit - can anybody answer my question about the backspacing change?

the backspacing is 5.75"
my current backspacing is -19AM ?

what would the change be? i dont know how backspacing works

That sounds more like an OFFSET than a Backspacing.... whats the width of your wheels? Any chance that the offset is -19mm?

Wow. Those are 15x8's? They dont look it.

Well, if my mathematical calculations are correct (LOL) then your backspacing is 3.3" roughly.

What's the width of the wheels he wants to trade you? If they are 8" wheels, then the outside lip of your wheel is supposedly going to be inward roughly 2.5" per wheel

17x8 with a 5.75 backspacing

so that means my wheels will stick out less yes?
