how big would you go?

well i hate the little tires on my truck.... i want to go bigger. After reading on here abit looks like 31.10.5(265or 275/75/16) is about it without a lift. I would like to do a 2 inch body lift but i do have a warrenty on the truck for 2.5 more years.
here is my truck currently.

tell me what u would do or have. if u post a pic tell me what size tires and lift u have

thanks
Dan

How big would I go? Six inches. Lol jk.
Iv got some 285s on my Ranger and its about perfect, except the fact my rims required spacers up front.... And Id get wider rims if your looking to go to 31s or anywhere close to that or else youll have pizza cutters

There is no 2in BL. Either 1 in or 3 in.

You can then go up to 33s and whatever the equivalent R16 size is.

BL will not void warranty, larger tires may.

I would go with 32's with no lift, but if I were you I would throw a body lift on and go with 33's.

i did find a sweet deal on a set of 33x12.5x15 but i assumed those would be too big without a lift

Some guys run 33s with just t-bars cranked and shackles. If you off road like at all though you will tear up your tires/fenders.

Incorrect. Every warranty is different and it could void the warranty. Anytime you alter the vehicle that much it could effect the warranty.

Check your warranty before you do anything.

I have a 6 inch lift with 33's. I would love to go higher but then I have to deal with a tilt test inspection. Your truck looks nice why change it? I love the color.

id crack the tbars, get lift shackles and run 32x11.50x15 on some 15x8's

It would be alot more agressive

If big tires void the warranty, keep your stockers and put em on if going in for a warranty issue. If your gonna run 33s, Id advise getting wider rims

You could do 33" skinny. With a T-bar crank.

im running 265/75/16 on my truck and i love it.. i have 1.25 spacers up front and it looks really good i get alot of compliments... thats the biggest i would go imo. i run them and i rub a little at full lock. plus i have cranked bars. idk how much your bumper weights but that will lower the front a tad possible making it rub a little more. you COULD prob fit 285 but imo it looks to stuffed. from what i have seen here and frf rangerboy101 is the only one who looks good with 285... go with 265/75/16

Thanks!
They are much quieter than I thought they would be. Maybe because they are narrow and on a light truck. I am told they will get louder as the miles wear on.
After shipping, mount and balance and everything , they were $800ish.

Im still a teenager, I want loud tires lol. And $800 aint bad for MTs. Theres a guy from around here with some Nitto Mud Grapplers on his Wrangler. It sounds like a helicopter comin towards you. But theyre more than $800 lol

As for a T-Bar crank, theres 100 different threads about it. Just search and im sure youll find an explanation

Wirelessly posted (Timberwolf)

33's on 8"wide wheels are perfect. Of course with a lift.

I think they look too narrow for my liking. I love the way my truck looks (not to brag). 285/75 R18s. The only things id do different is a t-bar crank to level it out, MTs, and chrome rims

I have road tires on mine. I hate noisey tires and love the comfy ride of being stock. I accompished that with this setup. Its awesome on long trips. btw, they are yokahama geolanders
