15 inch rims, help me decide...
I'm getting some new AT's this fall, probably stock size, or 31's at the most. Thing is, I don't want to drop $600 on tires and then mount them on my rusty oem rims. So i'm in the market for some cheap new rims. Have been researching for weeks, and still can't make up my mind!
Right now my choices are:
Ion 174 aluminum

Summit soft 8 or d windows
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-85-5765/

Whats the difference between the cragar soft 8's and the ones made by summit or the procomp rockcrawler series? They all look the same to me. It seems like every company makes a black steel wheel like this. Even jcwhitney has one thats made by Allied wheel company.
Has anyone tried the ion brand? I didn't find much about them online, its seems that nobody has them. They only come in 3.5" backspacing as well...will that stick out to far on my truck?
Thanks for helping me decide.
PS Truck is oxford white supercab w/ chrome accents.

I'm leaning towards the ion as well, mostly because its aluminum, and it looks pretty sweet as well. Its also a great price for an alloy. But they are made in China, and I think the steel wheels are made in the USA. I also found this post about the company.

Does anybody on here actually have some Ion's on their ranger? I'd like to get some first hand experience before I drop three bills.
I wish I had money for some american racing outlaw 2s, thats my dream rim : )
