General Grabber AT/2 on my wifes Escape

These tires look a lot like BFG AT/KO's and even have the rim protector. Read about them in an offroad magazine and showed them to my wife since we were getting new tires and she wanted them. I actually showed her a few tires from the Tire Rack and she picked them out because they were aggressive looking, had a non-directional tread and enough siping.

She's starting to sound like one of us, lol!

Anyway, here's what they look like. They are 235-70-16's and about 29" in diameter. About the same as stock Ranger tires.

Didn't buy them at Tire Rack. It would have been $104 a tire shipped and a local vendor gave them to me for $109 installed and balanced. The Tire Rack isn't competitive sometimes.

I was told that if I wanted to live, I would not be modifying her suspension, or taking her Escape offroad.

She's not sounding THAT much like us!

Did I screw up that title or did it change, lol? I meant to type "General Grabber AT/2" but apparently I somehow inserted a "look" in there. I should have looked before I "looked"...

some guys at work were talking about those grabber tires. couple of them wanted them for their Heep, I heard they were good.

I dont think I could ever go back to an all terrain tire.

Either that or a wider wheel or less backspacing?

I've got grabbers on my Ranger and they have done better than the BFG's I had on before in every aspect on and off road.
