Going on 35's need to upgrade anything??
Hi Guys, i'm going to fit 35x12.50x15 on my ranger, I all ready tried with the body lift and it fit perfectly, and with the 305/70/16 the engine runs great. But am more worry about the drivetrain, splines. ect. and I was wondering if you guys could recomend anything so i don't break my ranger.BTW i don't do serious off roading. my dad told me to change the splines from 28 to 31 but i don't even know how to start where can i buy them and the list just goes on. so any recommendetions? Please?

4.88 gears will make the drive much smoother and wont be too slow. it will get up to speed quicker than with 4.10 gears.
good website to order gears from and also find info about gearing
http://www.ringpinion.com/default.aspx
for 33's, 4.56 gears are ideal
for 35's, 4.88 gears are ideal
Thats all i'm explaining, if you search around you'll find info.

Yep, really should regear - Your truck will hate it if you don't.
To pull off 35's properly without 'half-assing' everything - your talking some real money.
Also, you can't have much room trying to stuff 35's with just a body lift....Make sure you can turn fully, and can actually take a pothole without tearing off your fenders! lol

I purchased my Yukon brand gears from here: Randy's Ring & Pinion
People with 35's don't mention fuel economy for a reason. lol
