265/75/16's vs 285/75/16's?
Hey guys, i'm going to be upgrading my tires right away. I'm looking for better traction, and a beefier looking tire.
I'm planning to crank my Tbars, and use rear lift shackles for a little extra ride height and clearance.
I'm curious which size of tire is best? i will be offroading the truck a bit, but it is my daily driver.
What can you guys tell me? Are the 285's alot heavier? will the 285's kill my gas mileage? etc

I have 285's on my truck and am consistantly getting 17mpg's. I can tell you if you plan on going off road and flexing alot, plan on them rubbing a little.
265's wont rub at all, and youll be able to flex all day. My truck is a "street queen" per say, im putting in a 3'' body lift and 315/75-16's. I dont off road so if it rubs a little on plastic on the locks I can deal with that! Plus im not a big fan of a huge wheel well gap
