Im wanting to get a wider tires for my 02 stepside ranger 4x4. It has p245 75r16's on it now. would p 265 75r16's give me a inch or two sticking out or do i need to go up to a 275 or 285?

He's asking about going wider, not taller.

Compared with your current 245, the 265 will be about 20mm wider, 275 = about 30mm, 285 = 40mm...all depending on the tire mfg.

265s wouldnt exactly stick out.. they definatly fill up the wheel wells nicely though..

new wheels would push your tire out further..

Forget the tires. Most importantly, what's attached to those legs?
