06 4 banger 2wd, tire size question

What size is the largest that would not effect gas mileage too much and would not bog down the wee motor much. I was thinking 225 75 15 but wonder if 235 75 15's that probably weigh about 32, 33 pounds each, stock 225 70 15 weighed only 25 pounds each.
What do you guys think?

225/70 is 27.4" tall
235/75 is 28.90" tall

if it was me.... if you do alot of city driving. I'd stay stock sized, or regear the truck.

highway driving wont be real real bad.

Go smaller and lower your truck if you are worried about mpg.. get some weld prostars or other light weight rim.. thats what I am doing.. 15x8 rim weighs 12lbs vs 21 stock 15x6 steelies.. check my profile for more wheel weights..
