Absolutely outstanding, Cameron. I put them on my wife's Escape and they are great in all conditions. Particularly nice on all wheel or 4 wheel drive.

They don't have the 3 ply BFG sidewall, but the tread and even the rim protector are nearly identical. They are supposed to wear very well.

There was a post I made on hers. Just 28" I think (235-70-16) but still looked great on the Escape. I don't know how they survive in severe service, but some offroad reviews have been done on them including from one of the Petersen's offroad mags which liked them. I think it was "Four Wheeler". That's where I saw it originally.

Here's the link to that topic on the AT's (hint: if you searched "general grabber" it's the 4th topic down -- yes, I'm talking about that deadly 5 letter word: SEARCH!)

Yeah, I think they aren't making them very big yet -- if they ever do.

By the way: I got them CHEAPER MOUNTED AND BALANCED at a local tire dealer than I could get them from the TireRack shipped to me! And the warehouse they were in is just 20 minutes from my house!

Check around for General dealers near you and see what you can get. Might surprise you. On some tires the 'Rack is not cheaper.

I guess they are making them much better these days; When I bought it, my 2000 was equipped with the original Grabber ATs and I thought they wore terribly and would always need to be balanced. They are good looking tires though and are relatively cheap. But like I said, the new ones seem to be much better.

http://www.generaltire.com/tires/T5

If that is the largest they make then how do you expect some store to magically sell a larger size? If you want larger go with BFG or another A/T like ProComp, Yokohama, Maxxis etc. If you're wanting to stay cheap the Maxxis Bighorn is a nice tire that I've heard good things about. They're an aggressive A/T and a little M/T also but they come in larger sizes. http://www.maxxis.com/products/autom...il.asp?id=5477

Here are some prices http://www.supertruckusa.com/products/92612_1XX_PG.htm

I'm sure you can find them cheaper but this was the first link I came across with prices.
