General Grabber AT2's now meet severe service requirements

Not sure how new this news is, but i figured i'd pass it along. I live in a pretty arctic climate, with tons of snow and ice for most of the winter. I had been eyeing the BFG AT's but now that the AT2's have the severe service rating (maintain+snowflake) i will likely be ording these up in a few weeks!

Just wanted to pass this along to anyone tire shopping

What did they change to give it that rating I wonder?

I hear its a good tire at a good price though I have never used them

My guess is they didn't change anything to get the rating. They probably just conducted the test to confirm they do meet the rating requirements.

I have AT2's and they are the best AT tire I have had and that includes the BFG's. You won't be disappointed in the snow and ice with these. Here's some crappy pics of mine.
