I just don't think they will work...

I have a friend that bought some wheels off of a 93-96 (or 97;not sure) F-150 for is ranger (98-2000 model). They are the ones that look like the polished Alcoas. I asked him what they came off of and he told me. I just don't think they are going to work. I have no idea what those year F-150 bolt patterns are but I really don't think its a 5 on 4.5. He said they "measured" them, but I don't think that meant they "mounted" them. What I think it is; they got a good deal on them and thought they will fit because they came off of a ford. Will these work, so I can tell him he wasyed his money?

I'm not buying them. My neighbor bought them because he loves my Alcoas and though those would work. I've tried and tried to tell him if he has any questions about Rangers to ask me or create an account up here and asj. But he's 16 and doenst listen...
