Tire lettering vote

I was just wondering what everyone thinks looks best; White lettering on the tire sidewall or black sidewalls.

i used to be for white letters out, which that is how mine are now, but i might actually pay to get mine turned around the other way. since i cant use bleech white on my tires becasue it messes up the wheel its hard to keep the letters white.

I like black out, but now mine are white, I'm having trouble with the white being "pulled off" from wheeling...it seems like the clay I was in this weekkend stripped some of the white.

I may also turn mine the other way. If i don't get new ones before that

It depends on the tires,

Huge side walls = White letters

Low pro = black walls

I would never have a set of BFG A/T's without white letters, but the tire I am buying for the Roadmaster would look stupid with white letters in the 275/50r17 size

Raised White Letters RWL

I have no issues with bleach white on my wheels just salt and winters lol. The trick is to do one wheel at a time and keep the wheel wet when you are doing it. No sun around would be another key thing.

Zach, though its a bit more work, you can always take the wheel off the truck and do it while its flat on the ground. That way you don't run the risk of having it drop down onto the rim. Just keep a hose nearby incase you have anything drop on the rim.

A good way to clean white letters

Go to NAPA and get there hand cleaner with pumice

and get a stiff brush
Then scrub the rinse
