I wouldnt mount them on my truck if they were free! As much as I dont like BFG A/Ts I would rather have the BFGs than the ltx at 2

Ah remember how I work at Costco? We only sell the BFG AT and the Michelin LTX A/T2 and we have alot of complaints about the LTX AT2.

Also they have a much softer rubber compound then the BFG AT so they will wear quicker. It you are looking for a good street tire that you want to take off-road on occation I would suggest the Michelin LTX M/S they are a very good all around
tire.

I know but if all you have is hear say and you never actually been in a car that has them on changes how I take your opinion.

I went for the 31" Michelin LTX M/S tires when I replaced my 31" BFG AT tires. The LTX M/S tires are excellent street tires but I don't recommend them for off-road. Fortunately, I have a set of 32" Procomp MT tires for my off-road adventures.

I have not been in ice, snow or slush with the LTX M/S tires but they do well in the rain. I mainly bought them for dry conditions and the mileage durability. I considered the LTX AT but they stopped making them and came out with the LTX AT2. I didn't like the tread and they made them shorter in the 31" size. There was also no reviews on them and I did not want to go in blind. Micheline makes some very good tires but they also make some not so good ones. I vote no on the LTX AT2.

Yeah if you offroad more than once a month then go with something different. They do decent in the dirt but its nothing spectacular, I can get them to spin pretty easily. I've never had them in snow though so I have no clue.

I dont know about the ltx 2, but I would trust matt on this one seeing he works in a tire shop. I personally love my ltx at's, but its a completely different tire.
