What kind of information do you need to know before you start buying new rims??? lets say all I know is I want some 33" tires and I want the rims to have a width of say 10". Then what more do I need to think about when it comes to buying the rims????

 

bolt pattern, backspacing, diameter

 

what style of rims you want is a big factor on how the truck will look. do you want an alcoa look or do you want a 5 spoke chrome rim? some people want steel wheels others want flashy rims. its up to you and your tastes. do you want a 15 inch rim or a 22 inch rim like some people on here run? do you plan on lookin good or do you plan on makin your truck an offroad machine?
you also need backspacing for the wheel.
on tires do you want a highway tire? offroad tire like an MT? or a low pro tire?

 

Right now I have 32x11.5x15 on there. My vehicle, as i'm sure you figur, is a mud machine. Right now all I am looking at is trading in the tires/rims that I have and getting something with a little larger tire diameter, and maybe not as wide. Any ideas???

Dido on the backspacing, I am un-familiar with the phrase. Can someone explain to me what it means and how it affects my tire?
