BFG Land Terrain vs. BFG All Terrain T/A

Ok today I was shopping around in Walmart. I was looking at the tires they had and there was a set of 31x10.5xR15 BFG Land Terrains for 402.xx. They look very similar to the All Terrian T/A. The All Terrains were the same size but I think they were 430.something. What are the differences? And has anyone has both?

The land terrians are a good tire. But if you do any kind of offroading, go with the at's. Much more agressive tread.

If you do go with land terrians, look at the knock off company liberator....made by bfg, with the exact same tread pattern as land terrians and only 40+ a piece

OK, I will probably go with the 32" when I have to replace my stock Wrangler RT/Ss. I want a bigger tire and also would I have to do a torsion bar crank, and if I did a 1.5" crank would the alignment be really off. Oh another question, how off would the speedo be if I got 32" tires with 28.9 stock. I am greatly apreciative of this help!

alignment no it shouldnt be that off at all. put personally your getting new tires with in like 4 months i would recomend an alignment just so you dont toaste the tires because there new. with 32's your speedo will be like 3-5mph off at 45

I had a stock 245/75/16 tires and just jumped to a 265/75/16 and at 40mph I am dead on. At 60 mph I am off by 1.5mph. So if it says I am doing 60mph I am really doing 61.5mph. I used a GPS to determine this. Before the new tires my speedo was actually under by about 2 mph. So I guess Zach is correct you will be off about 3-5 mph. Go Zach.

i would still say go with the a/t's... they are a much more rugged tire... they have a much thicker sidewall ect.

Get the all-terrians. I will always stick with those tires. They have never left me stuck anywhere. My buddy had 33's on his cherokee with a 4.5" lift. He beat the living snot out of that truck in mud, snow, etc and never got stuck.

Here is my truck on BFG All Terain T/A's 265/75/16's=32's. No lift. I love them other than the gas mileage drop.

I'm with the 32" crowd. I got 31s and they're small when I look at pics of trucks with 32s. If you're not going to do anything offroad, and you wanna save money I'd go with the Land-terrains. I went with the All-Terrains, and sometimes I wish I had that extra $100. I dont offroad...

Hmm, I wonder if they make the land terrain in 32" and if not then it looks like I'm going to have to get the A/T's in a 32". Also ScottyEric posted that he has 32" tires with no lift. What I am wondering is did he do a torsion bar crank?
