LTB Question?

Ok, I can't figure this out, I know what the super swamper ltb looks like but I always see pics of another design but no info on it and I've never seen anyone with that design on their truck. Only the regular one.

My question is, is there two different designs for the tire or is it only that big @ss 49" ltb in the pic that is designed that way. Cause I want the second design.

Here is what I'm talking about.

the regular one that everyone gets

the badass other one that I've never really seen.

thx, that is what I was guessing. That is stupid anyways, I think they should incorporate that look into all of the ltb's and I bet their sells would go up cause that tire looks sweet.

no, there is sipping and little details that just make it look better, yea same pattern but not the same look.

and that would take too much trimming haha

I don't know as I'd care about siping on an LTB. You wouldn't want them on a daily driver anyhow.

I see what you mean though about the sidewall look and what not. Is that a bit more like the IROK?

yeah I was just trying to point out differences to Matt, sipping is the last thing I would worry about on ltbs too haha, and my truck doesn't move very much since I have a work truck. That is why I have been looking at swampers here recently.

and yeah the irok is what they remind me of and I would get iroks but only come nothing smaller than 36's so I'm screwed on that deal.

Wait for the new SXII's to come out.

These are the 42" SXII's. They are going to be a sweet tire.

^^ I would if I could fit them haha

It is either going to be the ltb's or ssr's. But ssr run about 50 bucks more a tire and they probably will last longer and are radials, so idk

the SSR's Suck, they have super weak sidewalls. Interco sells good tires except for the SSR's, Trxus AT and Thornbirds.

The SSR's are nice but they are very soft, so don't expect alot of miles out of them. When I had them I was very happy with them and I am thinking about getting another set in the summer.

I never had a sidewall problem with them, I think it really all depends on what kind of rocks you run in.

You would be better off with the Trxus MT's then the SSR's. They are a decent tire and they last and they dont have sidewall problems.

neither one of my sets of LTBs have that tread it must be the big ones

and I kept my LTBs on my daily rotated every 3000 miles and i have 12,000 miles on them and they are at 50% tread so they ended up to be a little better than I thought they would

and I can't decide if I would get 34/10.5 or 33/13.5 ltb's

I know the skinny tire would be better for the terrain I mess around in but I don't want it to look like it is on stilts. decisions decisions

150??? haha

you got them for like 200 so I figure after you used them they depreciated haha

I don't think I can fit 35's anyway without some serious trimming. They are 1.2" bigger than 34" ltbs and the ltbs are pushing it.
