Moving to OK, buying new shoes. Quick ?s
Hey Guys
Im making the move from California to Oklahoma for paramedic school. I currently have some Toyo Open Countrys (285/75/16) & moto metal wheels with a 3" spindle lift. I would like some better gas mileage (smaller tires) and would also like some 15" wheels. My main questions are what size tires would go well with my current setup, i was thinking 30", As long as i can pull into a parking spot without doing a 3 point turn. Ive been looking at american racing wheels but not sure what backspacing i need. I would prefer the wheels to stick out a little as my front wheels have a 1" wheel spacer now which looks great but not so functional. Any help is greatly appreciated I'm moving in 8 days and need this done!
-what backspacing/offset pushes the wheels further out? Does this decrease turning radius?
-are 15“ rims a better choice so I can stay out of metric?
- best size tire for a 3“ spindle lift, not much loss in turning radius, better mpg
