Need advise
Well if you read some of my other posts, you should know that I got stuck.. Bad... And my grandpa has gone off the wall this time and wants to get rid of my BFG M/Ts. He thinks by doing that it will keep me on the road (whatever. I go wheeling in his prius when hes not looking... but i digress). SO what tires do yall recomend that would look ok-ish on my truck but at the same time wouldnt lead him to thinking they are offroad tires?

He says that Im gonna tear up my truck cuz it wasnt built for wheeling.
The BFG A/T is what im gonna fight to get.
Yep, they came with the truck.

I would be pissed if someone told me I have to get rid of something I bought. I understand its your Grandpa but you bought the truck so you should make the ultimate decision to run the tires. My family told me not to lift it because its a little truck and would not be worth the value of the truck. . . . My lift will be on by sometime this Fall

I would look into Bridgestone Dueler Revos.
Or maybe Kumho Road Venture AT
Or GY Wrangler Silent Armor
Much tamer looking than BFG MT or AT, but still capable AT's that gramps might not mind.

I hear ya on the deal about him buying the truck and all. I'm in the same situation. The 12 months I have had my truck, it's been in my dad's name. When he gave it to me to drive, I wasn't allowed to mod it, change anything, do anything or whatever to it. Just drive it and maintain it. Well, I pissed my parents off pretty good by in the past year buying new rims and tires, lifting it, putting in a new headunit, new lights etc, and then pissed them off most of all by wheeling it a few times. However, the first things I did were removing the step bars and bug deflector and that just sent them off the wall.
So, as of Saturday the truck gets signed over to me finally and now I'm free whatever I want to do with it. Even though it does have 260k miles on it lol. However, in the past year, I have been responsible for all the costs of the truck, so it pretty much has been 'my' truck.
