Need help with rims

I'm looking for a set of 16x8 or 16x9 rims and just cant seem to find ones i like for a decent price. I'm hoping to get them for around $100 a piece, I plan to put 305/70 Toyo Open Country A/T 2 tires on them. I'm in the process of ordering a Superlift Level-it kit and Superlift Rear Suspension blocks to get a 3 inch lift. I own a 1999 Ranger XLT 4x4, currently all stock. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Also, I wouldn't mind a decent offset, it looks badass to have the tires sticking out the sides.

What are you looking for? I know that a lot of guys here use Cragars, either Soft 8's or D-windows. I'll probably be one of them someday. Mickey Thompson Classics are similar to the Cragar soft 8's.

The look of the Soft 8's is what I'm going for, what are the usual prices for a set of those?
Also, is there a benefit to having a 2 piece wheel instead of a single piece of steel/aluminum?

If you are wanting backspacing (tires sticking out of fender wells) you may want to go with 15x8s wheels. Most 16 inch wheels do not have that much backspacing. That being said I have 16x8s wrapped in Cooper ST's and I love them. But my wheel/tire combo does not stick that much out of the fender at all. Maybe with the right wheel and 305/70/16s you might get the look you are wanting.

I found a set of American Racing Baja's that are 16x8, but they are $114 a rim, and I don't really know if that is worth it. I want to go with 16's just because the tires are usually about $40 less a piece, if not less, even though I'm only going to get about 2 extra inches outward. I was really hoping for something less than 100 a rim

Well I know that Summit has Cragar Soft 8's in the size I would buy (which would be stock size 16x7, 4 inch backspacing) for around $75 a wheel.

I hear ya on the money. You could always try looking at the local craigslist for your area for a slightly used if not new set of wheels?

I've checked Craigslist, seems like nobody around here is selling what I'm looking for. I found a set of Pro Comp 98's that are $85 a piece which is about the price I was hoping for. Gotta save up a bit more and then I'll order them. Thank y'all for the help!

Alright man, sounds good to me. Whenever you get them, post some pictures of your new wheel/tire combo!
