need TIRE HELP!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH

Anyways,

my Mickey Thompson Baja Claws are about 1/2 way gone.
at about 15-25mph, they vibrate my truck to where its annoying, and stuff is starting to rattle.

So now im looking for a good mud tire, that does good offroad, that has a smoother ride than the claws.

Any suggestions?

I like the Toyo tires but dont know much about them, i also like the Nitto Terra Grapplers, but dont know how they would look on my rims.

Thanks guys

its called Balancing and TONS of rotation with Directional tires...

All Mud tires vibrate as you go over the lugs at low speeds

thats what make claws so cool
I've only ridden in an old XJ with claws and that was a bumpy ride.

my MTZs are awesome, they're pretty worn and still not too loud.. and you can only feel the truck rolling over the lugs when your inching forward at a light.

baja claws are amazing i mainly play in the mud with mine and alot of hwy miles on them too I've put around 20k miles on mine with a little less than 50% tread loss but just remember to keep a proper alignment and rotate them every 3k miles and they'll last for a long time but that's just my opinion just take care of whatever you buy and it will make the world of difference

well sorry i completely looked over the main subject my computer is jacked... but ya claws are very bumpy when cruising between 0-20 mph but that's just because the tread is so aggressive and everything in my ranger rattles too lol i think its funny cuz i can roll in a parking lot about 5 mph and feel every lug my tool box rattles too because of it theirs no cure for the low speed beating of a claw and alot of M/T tires are like but my brother's 4 runner rides amazingly with his MTZ's

Toyo Open Country M/T is suppose to be the best M/T tire for on road characteristics, im looking into buying a set because im sick of my M/Ts vibrating the life out of my truck too.

i used to work at a tire shop.

goodyear MTRs have reported incredeble life when kept balanced and rotated. how about 50-60,000 miles on a one ton crew cab with an inspection hut in the bed!

BFG MTs have reported similar, although i've noticed the tread tends to seperate at higher mileage, both the mt and at.

the new BFG MT KM2 i've heard rides very well and is quiet for an agressive tire.

good luck!

My Claws rode great. I also kept them balanced and rotated them every 3,000 miles or sooner.
