When I had my door panels off I installed a pair of Alpine 5x7s and used the OEM speakers out back.
I plan on putting matching alpine speakers in the back eventually and a good head unit,
I will run three amps a small sub two butt kickers. a capacitor and a upgraded alternator.
I am just looking for good sound with the feel of lots of bass without the ear piercing sound of lots of bass which is why I will be running butt kickers.
I have significant hearing loss which I do not plan on making worse.
I do not have a lot of money, the work I plan on doing will take a long time both physically and financially.
The engine work I will have to enlist some of my friends to help.
I do not plan on opening up the engine until it needs to be done. I just will not be putting stock parts in it.
I will be saving my money and gathering the engine parts as time goes by. one of the most critical things I want for the engine is a better crank one with a key way.
I was lucky with my carpet, it looks like it was replaced because it does not have the built in rubber heal pad.
The only thing my interior is missing is the carpet from the back wall.
I am finding many of the parts I was sure I was going to replace just needed some love and not replacement. like my control arms the only thing wrong with them was one upper ball joint boot.
I was also sure I needed to replace my front brakes rotors bearings yet again they just needed some love and maintenance.
When I do need to replace those parts of course they will not go back to stock.
Most people here spend a lot of time Modifying their truck, I have spent a lot of time removing these mods because they were done so poorly.
The previous owner ran a muck with the wiring it took a lot of diagnostic work and soldering to get it sorted out.
I may one day reinstall these " upgrades " yet It will be done right.
