I was worned that the cable was bad and not to use the parking brake till it was fixed. so what do i do today? put the damn thing on. now its stuck enought to burn the **** of the shoes. how do i release it. i take the drum off and then wat? does shoes have to come off is theres something i can just cut for now till i get new cable

 

you wont get the drum off without it released. smack the drum with a hammer, a big hammer. If that doesnt work you could try and cut the cable. if all else fails try to remove the drum and remove the shoes for the parking brake.
