Help me with wheel selection

i'm thinking about adding a 3" BL and run some 33x12.50r15s. First, i can't decide whether i want 15x8s or 15x10s.

That being said, the truck is a 94 black STX, soon to have the STX decals removed. I'm leaning towards steelies just because if they scratch they'd be easy to touch up.

Pacer 297b(soft 8s)

Pacer 342bs(D windows, can get these with or with out the pin striping)

Pacer 164p

Pacer 252b(fake bead lock)

Ultra Nomad

Let me know what you guys think. I'm torn between all of them. Thanks

If you're looking for something unique keep looking... otherwise any of those will look great!

That's what is causing me to not make up my mind. I don't want anything too fancy because they're going to get some mud on them and probably get scratched. Thanks

I have the Pacer 164p Wheels on my truck, so of course they get my vote :D plus they are not that expensive. Just stay away from the steel wheels

WOW, great looking truck. You just made up my mind for me. 164p's it is. Plus, the aluminum will save me a little weight

Great looking truck Trent. I think they'll look good on my 94. What size tires are in that picture? I was thinking about putting a body lift on the truck to fit 33x12.50s but the more i think about it, i'm tempted to keep just the leveling kit and throw 32x11.50s on there with no BL.

Good deal, thats what i'm looking for. Just ordered the rims, maybe i can order the tires in the next week or so. I'm leaning towards the Maxxis Bighorns in 32x11.50s. Anyone have any experience with them? Thanks

that was fast! post pics when you get them mounted. Also, buy a can of Meguiars Hot Wheels aluminum polish. That will help them stay nice and shiny. Post pics when you get them mounted

Yea i've been looking at rims for the truck for a week or two and never could really decide until i saw those pictures. I ordered them through my tire distributor(I run a small automotive shop) and they should be here in a day or two. I'll post up some pictures of how the truck sits now, and then some with the new tires/wheels, STX decals removed, and after a little compounding. Thanks everyone.

Here are some pictures of the truck as it sits right now. I'm hoping in the next couple weeks that i can have it looking a lot different. I'm still not complaining because i really don't have that much invested in it.

I think the 164p's and 32x11.50s will bring it out a lot, along with getting some shine out of the paint and removing the decals.

That is a nice rig! I think with the new wheels and some beefy tires, and like you said, remove those AWFUL stx stickers and a good compound, that truck would be killer!!

After you do those items, hit all your plastic with some Krylon Fusion Satin black and your truck will look like new!

Thanks. I just about have everything mechanically sound on the truck so now i can concentrate on appearance. I'm thinking about painting the flares and grille satin black. I'm contemplating painting the bumpers satin black also.

My wife just said i can buy a set of headlights for it(for my birthday) so i'm thinking about getting some black or smoked headlights. Give me a little time and i think it'll be more presentable.

i think a little work on the paint (And obviously remove the stickers) would improve the look of that truck 100%. sounds like you've got a good start though man!
