Sad chains might not fit.

This is more a less a quick rant. I've had some really nice tire chains that where never used sitting in there never opened bag that I had for my 03 xlt 4x4. stock tires and wheels. Unfortunately I don't think they will fit my truck at all. I'm gonna try them out tomorrow just to see. Unless I find a place that might take them and trade for the right size with cash on top on my end.

My tire size on my 02'
-I have 31x10.5 Duratracs

What sucks is my chains are for 245/75R15 and 255/70R15.

:-(

Like I said I'm almost positive they will not fit. Although I have had chains that were for a little bit bigger tire then they were rated for and they did give enough play to fit on their comfortable.
So what do you guys think? Try them out or just take them back and try and upsize?

Lay one over the top of the tire. Make sure the cross chain will hang down the sidewalls 2 inches on each side. Less than 2 inches you'll need wider chains.
The side chains can always be lengthened and a cross chain or 2 added if the ones you have are wide enough.
