pro-comp all-terrains, anybody have thoughts on 'em?

pro-comp all-terrains, anybody have thoughts on 'em?
i recently got new tires for my winter wheels (235/75-15 futura dakotas from pep-boys) and next spring i will need new rubber for my summer wheels (ford factory alumminum "deer-paw" 15x7s) and was thinking about pro-comp a/t's and wondered if anyone likes/doesnt like them and if they wear good. im thinking of the 30x9.50 size, im running a 4.0 with the 5 speed and 3.73 gearing on a '93 s/c 4x4. 235-15 was the factory size so my gearing should be o.k.

the tires ive got on them right now are real slippery in the rain, bfg long-trail t/a's. they are about 7 years old and the rubber has hardend, there barely street legal as far as tread depth but dont get a grip on anything thats wet. my former winter tires were about bald but got much better snow traction than the bfg's because they werent as old. and they werent a great tire, goodyear wranglr rts. they looked funny, came off a small jeep and were 215-15s. my tube steps would drag in 4" of snow.

Andrew has my old tires and rims, and they never let me down. Perfect in the snow, etc. They wore great and had 70% of tread when i sold them to him, after i had them for 2 years. Im sure they'd do good in offroad conditions as well.

pro-comp ATs are a very nice tire. smooth on the road (smoother than the BFG ATs IMO), very good in the snow/slush, decent on ice due to all the sipin and good in the rain (see ice/siping).
i dont know what ya mean they are slippery in the rain, ANY tire is slippery in the rain...its called lay off the skinney pedal.
i like em better than the BFG AT, but i destroyed a set of BFG ATs in 12,000 miles

if you destroyed a set of BFG a/t's in 12,000 miles then it WAS YOUR FAULT! the BFG's do perform better in wet conditions and handle alot better than the Pro Comp's.........my experience is i will never own another Pro Comp tire....
