Rims getting scratched

Does anyone know if eagle alloys (eg. series 186) scratch easy in the mud or can they go through a lot without getting too scratched? How do the m/t classic 2's hold up?

its aluminum so im sure they arent the most resistant to scratches... you can just polish them out if you get any small ones...

It's not like they're clearcoated. So either they're gonna get curb/rock rash like any other rim or just oxidize over time and need some elbow grease to restore the bling!

I know MT Classic II's aren't clearcoated, I don't know about the Eagles though. If your worried about it get the teflon coated series. I don't know if they come in anything but darker colors though.

ok. I got the eagle 186 series on there right now. Are minor scratches pretty easy to buff out?

I would wait for Zach to chime in on what to do to clean/buff. But I will give you the website for how your supposed to clean my MT Classic II's. I'm not sure if the Eagle's are clearcoated or not.

Whats that matt? The 186 series? Is it because they scratch easy or you think they look like shlt?

They dont scratch at all they just have ALOT of up keep to keep them clean and shinny....I cant stand them....ive been thinking of just haveing them powder coated but i think it might be a better idea to buy new rims and get rid of the ones i have....
