I want a comfortable 35in tire???
I currently have the BFG M/Ts Km's(old style) and Im getting kinda sick of the aggressiveness of the tire... I dont mind the noise BUT the tire isnt a comfortable ride. Im in search of some new more comfortable 35's BUT i want a tire that looks well in the size too. I used to own BFG A/T's and I LOVED them BUT they dont look well in 35's...
Please give me some options on tires that ride comfortable but at the same time look well in a size 35in, Thanks for the help!!

I would still suggest the KM2, no questions. Mine are making a little noise (still very quiet for a M/T) with almost 30k miles on them, but well over half tread and they ride very nice, and smooth.
The Cooper STT mud terrains are a good tire as well.
I have heard nothing but good things about Toyo M/Ts but I haven't actually run them myself yet.

^^^I beg to differ.... see below. lol.
KM2 dude. I know I haven't any experience with them(yet), but judging by my past 5 or so sets of their Radial Mud Terrains and Mud Terrain KM2's, I'm all about me some BFG. Fit my bill perfect and I can't wait for new tires. Plus, the prices of them are about the cheapest of the quality tires out there. None of this "mud rover" or "buckshot" BS.

I say no to Toyo if you didn't get the point before. lol. They're super quiet yes, just as with any all terrain. It's the wet weather traction that really really really turns me off on them. They were wicked scary compared to even my last two sets of upsiped mud terrains.

Well i was leaning towards KM2s but I want to know if the KM2s are a better, more comfortable ride than the older style BFG m/t's?? I would LOVE to stay with a M/T but it would have to ride smooth and be comfortable at the same time on the road and still have the aggresiveness for minor off-road usage!!! Thanks for the input guys

I’ve had 33” KM2s for a little while and they hum a little more than I expected them to both on the everyday roads and the hy-way.
Hy-Way with the windows open are noisy rides, have to crank the tunes to cover it up some or just to hear.
They have a good look but when they wear out (three or four years) I will go something less aggressive and quieter.

KM2s all the way. I'm super picky about how my truck rides, I want it to ride as smooth as possible. KM2s ride exactly like the ATs do, just like Sonic said. You would never know they were MTs on the road if you couldn't hear the hum. Now they are reasonably loud, but its not anything like exhaust drone. You can barely hear it with the windows up. I'm extremely happy with mine, if only they werent so expensive.

Not sure what you plan on running for rims but if on a 4x4 then use a 15” wheel.
KM2’s in 16”s are Light Truck Tires and are heavy walled than the 15” of the same size. that actually sound good for off-roading but on the street it adds noise and a harsher ride. Be scare because now I am waiting for these HD Tire to wear out then start looking for something a little softer in the sidewalls.
What it boils down to is the tire rating keep it in the “C” range do not go to a stiffer wall.

DICK CEPEK FUN COUNTRY II the best tire i have ever owned...i had them in 325/85r16 (discontinued) on my superduty and they were smooth and quiet, i kept them rotated and balanced, had 40k on them when i sold the truck and they were still more than 75%
pro comp all terrains seem good too, my buddy has them in 35s and they are really nice

Fastest way for premature failure of the Bearing Packs is to run 10 Rims… period.
With a 3⅝” bs to maybe a 4” bs all the extra stress of the wider rims falls on the bearings and in turn create more wear.
Now we all have to admit these front end bearing packs $uck at best so adding extra pressure is a bad thing.
Stick to an 8” rim with 4” max back spacing, this type of rim more evenly balances wright distribution and the tires don’t stick out too far past the body of the truck.

Chris...where's the pics of my twin??!?!?!? The twin in which i'm sooooooo jealous of!?!?!?? KM2's and black alloys FTW!
Not to call you out Sandy, but do you have any experience with this on these trucks????? I do and can tell you that over half my stock bearings life had oversize tires and steel wheels, and 75% of that 50% life was with 35x12.50's, 15x10 steelies with 4" backspace. I would say 120k on stock bearings is pretty darn good. Not to mention, the OP and myself are both double lifted and we all know this theory: go up, go wide. 8's on a double looks retarded anyway. lol.

My bearings are the least of my worries. Im a mechanic and im prepared to do any maintenance on my suspesion or drivetrain as the problem arises. I do love the look of the 15x10 with my lift compared to the slim look of the 15x8. If you go up, you must go wide too. At the same time, any modification done to suspension/motor/ect you have to prepare for the consequences. Im not some poor kid in school, I have a job with money and anything i do to my vehicles, im aware of the risks and prepared to dish out the cash to fix any misfortunes i may run in to lol
