shopping for wheels & tires, a little help please

Hey all, I have a 2002 2wd ranger that has never given me a problem. I was thinking of trading it for a bigger vehicle, but with the prices out there Im gonna stick with my beloved ranger. But Im needing some tires. All of my driving is on the road so Im looking for a cheap setup that is a little more road oriented than the current setup 225/70/15 with firestone wilderness ht's. Anyone know of some cheap steal wheels and tires that might do me? thanks

grab a 235/75/15, it will improve your MPG around town and the highway.

Try something like these tires:
General-Grabber AW

and these rims
Cragar Soft 8 Black Wheels 3975712 - SummitRacing.com

total cost about 600 plus tax and shipping. not bad if you ask me!

heres the same rims on my truck in a 15" rim.

Rangers use one of the most common bolt patterns available. The cheapest route by far is to call around to some used tire and wheel places, junk yards, or craigslist. You can easily find a set of 4 steelies for $50 or less. Get 15s and your tires will also be a lot cheaper.

Level 8 Tracker rims 2008 B4000

Looking at putting the Level 8 Trackers on my 2008 B4000 4x4. Gonna be doing a shackle/torsion bar twist 1" lift as well. Anyone done anything similar?
