tire size/speedo being off

Well ladies and gentlemen I am looking at getting some new tires (preferrably something around a 31 - 32) And I was wondering how bad my speed will be off with the bigger tire. Stock tire is a 255/70/16

I just went to a tire shop, i have the same stock tire combo as you. They told me i should go with 275/75/16 which is about a 31" tire. Mind you i also have cranked t-bars. I got new rims 16x9's so yeah im looking for a new tire. I asked about road noise and speedo being off. he pretty much said ill be fine but anything bigger than 33's you will notice a difference.

I just got mine re-calibrated at a speedo shop for $75 bucks. Tossed it on a dyno and reprogrammed. Done in 15 mins.

plug the numbers in here

Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing

Mine is out about 10%, I just remeber to add 10% to my speedo when I'm near cops. Besides that, I dont really have to worry.
