Wheel Question

Hello there guys and gals,

I have a question i have been thinking about getting a set of wheels for my 08 ranger and i was thinking of going with these:

I spoke to someone at Les schwab yesterday and he states that hes not sure that they can put a set of steel wheels on my truck because it currently has aluminum wheels. Has anyone dealt with this issue before or is that a possiblity?

If ya need more info my truck color is white, so i was thinking these would be perfect.

Thanks,

Tom B

Wow i Never thought those rims would make my truck look cheap im trying to keep my costs low on mods. I cant really afford a nicer set.

Or Maybe i should go with something like these:

Any ideas on which ones would look better.

Any Ideas on the Silver wheels compared to the white wagon wheels?

Or any other rims from Les Schwab that would look nice that aren't way expensive

Like Redneckstone said, Discount Tire has a lot of options that are fairly cheap.

Wheels and cost go together. Try wheelsforless.com. $60 to $600.
Those white spokes would make your ride look like a trailer. Chrome has a funny way of needing to be cleaned to often and painted steel rims always seem to rust. Do e-bay or R/F search for someones last upgrade take offs.

Does anyone have photoshop and could maybe show me what either of those wheels would look like on the truck?

If you insist on going with cheaper, steel wagon wheels, I'd get a set of black ones.

However, I would just hang out a bit, cruise the local craigslist or here, and find a nice set of used wheels in good condition for the same price. You get what you pay for. I had a set of those white steel wheels on my old blazer, and they looked like **** after a couple years.

I'd run your current wheels over those white steel wagon wheels anyday.

I personally think those look better on a lowered truck like FX2.3's but thats just me. As long as you like them, thats all that matters.
